We heard from musician Walid Zairi the last time he played a concert in town, but the tickets sold out before we had a chance to share his story with you! He will be back for a concert at Club Passim in Cambridge on Friday, April 26th, so if you are interested, don’t delay to grab a ticket here ($20-25).

Walid is originally from Tunisia, and arrived in Boston in 2002 with only $700 and his dreams. After attending Berklee School of Music, he is now a nurse anesthetist and a professional musician — pretty amazing. He composes music for Arabic and North African sounds of the oud, accordion, and percussion. It is quite unique! See more about Walid on his website.
