The magnolia trees were in full bloom over Easter weekend, and Commonwealth Avenue smelled so fragrant. I love this time of year!

Our Easter was very low-key, mostly because Matt was traveling and having two kids on my own was exhausting. But we survived!

My parents hosted an Easter lunch which consisted of a yummy Ina Garten chicken recipe plus asparagus, roasted potatoes, and brussels sprouts. Before we ate, we enjoyed French 75’s and the kids opened their Easter baskets. So cute.

Serena and Milo have both gotten into imaginative play lately and it’s adorable to see them participate in each other’s pretend worlds. They also spent a great deal of Easter reading to each other. I love these bookworms.

They also are really into playing “family” where one of them is the baby. They took turns “sleeping” in Remy’s car seat and giving each other bottles. It had us all cracking up!

Remy loved his Easter basket, too! My parents gave him this adorable toy that moves across the floor.

Our sister, Carolyn spent Easter with her in-laws, but came for a visit before lunch. We always love seeing her! She got some snuggles in with Remy.

Remy is now sporting this cool helmet to correct a flat spot on the back of his head. He will wear it for 2-3 months for 23 hours a day.

Next up, we are celebrating Passover. Milo is at such a fun age for these kinds of holidays, and I’m excited to see it through his eyes.

If you celebrate Easter, I hope you had a wonderful one! xo
