Compared to last summer, owners of small businesses in Greater Boston are less likely to envision an increase in revenue in their near future and less likely to having hiring plans, according to a new Bank of America Corp. survey.

The study, published Tuesday, found that 60 percent of respondents believe their revenue will increase in the year ahead, down from 70 percent in a BofA (NYSE: BAC) survey taken in late August and early September. The new survey is based on responses collected in February.
