Gordon College is making budget cuts as part of efforts to withstand ongoing disruption within the higher education sector.

The private Christian liberal arts college, founded in 1889 and located in Wenham, said it is cutting its $58 million operating budget by 7 percent over two years and hopes to create new revenue sources. The budget cuts will result in layoffs and fewer academic offerings.
