The second-in-command at Haven, the Boston-based healthcare startup formed by Inc, Berkshire Hathaway Inc. and JPMorgan Chase & Co., has decided to resign from the role for family reasons, the company said Friday.

Jack Stoddard, who worked at Comcast, health care benefits startup Accolade and Optum before joining the Haven in September, was the company’s chief operating officer, helping to lead the new organization to reengineer health care for the companies’ combined 1.2 million employees.
