American Outdoor Brands Corp., the Springfield-based parent of Smith & Wesson, closed its 2019 fiscal year with a net income of $18.4 million, or 33 cents per share.

That’s down from the $20.1 million net income, or 37 cents a share, reported in the fiscal year that ended in 2018.

Earnings in the company’s fourth quarter were $14.2 million, or 26 cents per share, compared with $13.3 million, or 24 cents per share, for the fourth quarter last year.
