Can you believe it is already the last weekend in June? Slow down, summer. Matt and I have a good friend’s wedding in Newport this weekend, and I will be leaving Remy overnight for the first time. He’ll be in great hands along with Milo at my parents’ house, and it will feel so good to be able to have a conversation with Matt. 🙂
Hope you have a wonderful weekend!
Saturday on Spectacle Island
We love exploring the Boston Harbor Islands, especially when it makes us feel so far from the city, when in fact you’re so close. This Saturday, head to Spectacle Island for a day of fun. Highlights include hiking with a ranger, learning how to fly a kite, and swimming in the harbor. Additional details and RSVP here.
Murals at Ink Block Underground
The concrete underpass between I-90 and I-93 is home to eight new murals from local and traveling artists. The murals will be unveiled this weekend and include works from Silvia López Chavez, Victor Quiñonez (who goes by Marka27), and Matthew Zaremba. It is so inspiring to see how artists can transform parts of the highway landscape. If you’d like to read more about participating artists and where to see the murals, go here.
