GOODREADS SYNOPSIS:

Bestselling and award-winning author Trista Mateer takes an imaginative approach to self-care in this new poetry and prose collection, Aphrodite Made Me Do It. In this empowering retelling, she uses the mythology of the goddess to weave a common thread through the past and present. By the end of this book, Aphrodite make you believe in the possibility of your own healing.

MY THOUGHTS:

This book was so beautifully written I was connected to it immediately. It was done in such an amazing way I enjoyed reading every page. I’ve stated before I’m still a novice when it comes to poetry, but I really feel myself appreciating it so much more.

I was a big fan on the points of views throughout. This one was an inspiring, uplifting read. I hope to read more but this poet soon.
