Major companies are hiring more female CFOs and female CFOs of color than ever before, according to new research.

The CFO Movement Study from Cowen Partners Executive Search shows that so far this year, more than one-third of new CFO hires at Fortune 500 companies and other major companies were women – 19 percent of whom are women of color.
